Ellie Goulding – Lights (Shook Remix)
His Shookness is back! This time around he’s turning his considerable talents in the direction of soon-to-be superstar vocalist Ellie Goulding. Using one of the freshest bass lines I’ve heard recently, he transforms Lights into down-tempo funk power ballad, a genre I’m pretty sure I just made up. Its got that smoooooth Breakbot vibe to it, but with a funk that is distinctively Shook’s. There are a lot of other good Lights remixes out there, but this particular one is so damn perfect that I doubt I’ll be listening to anyone’s else’s interpretation anytime soon.
