Wow, it seems like it has been forever since I last did this. When we posted Disco Friday #5, it was 2011, I was currently living in the United States, and I didn’t start my studies at Kings College London. But even with all this change, there is something that I can always depend on to stay constant…and those are the great nu-disco tracks that I manage to find on soundcloud week after week.
In this weeks edition of Disco Friday I’ve decided to include a plethora of bangers from up and coming artists such as Kreap, OHYEAH, Le Crayon, Florian Berry, Le Nonsense, and Jesse Oliver, who makes two appearances on this countdown with his work with talented producers such as Lenno and Jay Lamar. Also, notables like Pharao Black Magic round out the list with their lastest remix to Shindu‘s track “All In My Fridge.” Brimming with such youth and new talent, this collection of songs is a clear indicator that the the nu-disco scene isn’t going anywhere for while, especially if these guys have anything to say about it. So if I were you, I would get my dancing shoes on and make sure to lace them up nice and tight, because these musicians are going to do their best to keep you dancing for weeks, maybe even years to come!
