Video Roundup #9

This week’s video roundup features new video clips from Disclosure, Matthew Dear, Like Woah!, Mr Meeble and Goldroom remixed by Rotkraft. Enjoy!

Disclosure, the young duo from London, released last month their critically acclaimed EP “The Face”. The video clip for the song “Control” off this EP is their first ever video. It shows young people dancing to this great tune, adapting the visuals found on the EP’s cover. Don’t forget to listen to other songs from this EP, “Lividup” and “What’s In Your Head”!

Matthew Dear has a new video clip for his single “Her Fantasy”, from his forthcoming album “Beams” (out on August 28). The video is quite strange, so I’ll use the official description to talk about it: it “takes us on a journey through bizarre sequences of debauchery and seduction with a hint of humor”. The best way to figure out what this looks like is to watch it below!

I discovered the next video clip thanks to Flight Facilities‘ Facebook page….usually when they share something, you know it’s gonna be good! I don’t know much about the band Like Woah!,  except that they are featured on the latest Kitsuné Compilation “Kitsuné Soleil Mix”. The song is very nice, evoking the sound of Lemaître. The video clips features scenes from Eastwood’s western movies, pretty cool too!

“Star Power” is the first video from the new Mr. Meeble EP “Nostalgic for Now”. This Phoenix-based band describes their music as “Epic electronic glitch rock”. Actually, it’s hard to give a genre to their music as it’s quite unique and  mixing different genres. Just watch the video clip featuring nice visual effects to discover Mr. Meeble’s musical universe!

The last video is perfect to get in the mood for summer! RotKraft delivered a very good and smooth remix of Goldroom‘s song “Fifteen”, coming with a video clip. RotKraft put together images of girls, sea and surf, which matches perfectly the song! You can get this remix for free by clicking here.
