We know! We know! We know! You guys are probably saying, “Aren’t you the guys that made fun of producers for remixing any new track the XX came out with?” Yes. Yes we are. But the reason why we were making fun of these producers was based off the fact that they were releasing unofficial remixes of XX that literally came out the day of. Seriously, they must have only had a few hours to work on them. It totally made them appear as if they were just trying to ride off the hype of the band was accumulating at the time. But since it’s been a while since the album has come out, I’ve decided to upload a remix of one of the XX’s songs that seems to be a bit more sincere. Coming out sometime after the new album, this edit from the highly underrated Ben Gomori is just as breath-taking as the original, but with a lot more of that deep house “spirit!” If you’re not ready for this, this subtly entrancing groove might even sweep you off your feet!
