Taking the Smashing Pumpkins’ tune “Shake Down 1979″ quite literally, Good Night Keaton has decided to remake one of his favorite songs ever by turning it into something more dance friendly and in tune with the title of the track. For those who don’t know, GNK is the drummer for Miami Horror, so he certainly knows how to spruce up a song this alternative and entrenched with 90′s, indie-rock goodness. So expect to hear some fantastic, mood-setting production to be worked into this one! All in all, this remake is f-ing amazing (and free)!
